EIGHT & BOB ORIGINAL | When American student, John F. Kennedy met Parisian aristocrat Albert Fouquet in the French Riviera, not only was he charmed by the man, but also by his amazing scent. Upon his return to the US, JFK made a quirky request for eight samples"and if your production allows, another one for Bob". "EIGHT & BOB," as the cologne came to be known, quickly became a hit with the Kennedy family and Hollywood elite.
Unfortunately, Albert Fouquet would later die in a car crash, but his craft would continue for a few more years with his butler Philippethe only other person who knew the cologne's formula. With the start of WWII, Philippe halted production, hiding his final shipment of bottles inside books that he carefully hand cut.
Decades later, thanks to the family of Philippe, "EIGHT & BOB" has returned as one of the most exclusive colognes, preferred by the worlds most classic men.
